The first edition of VENDING SHOW – the French vending exhibition – was a success and even exceeded all expectations, establishing itself over three days, from 21 to 23 June, as the must-attend event for all professionals in the sector.
With 3,000 sqm of exhibition space at the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles, VENDING SHOW took its rightful place in Paris’s ‘temple’ of events. Over 2,600 trade visitors were registered for the three days when the show opened, and the total number of visitors eventually topped 4,000. While most visitors were from France (67%), there were also many foreign trade visitors, accounting for 33% of the total. These included a significant number of Italian, Belgian and German professionals, as well as many visitors from Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, Switzerland, and Turkey.
The event – owned by the French Vending Association (NAVSA), which organised it in collaboration with Venditalia Servizi – welcomed no less than 119 exhibitors from 17 different countries, who spread out over the 3,000 sqm of Hall 3.2: in all, international exhibitors took up around half (46%) of the available space.
All in all, a fine result that makes VENDING SHOW the benchmark event in France for vending professionals from the country and beyond, a national and international event that showed visitors the full extent of the industrial offering available to the sector.
Finally, the VENDING SHOW also provided an opportunity to discuss the major current and future challenges facing the vending industry. The five panel discussions organised by the Association, which invited leading professionals and experts to take part in the event, gave the audience an opportunity to find out about, reflect on and question the major issues facing the sector, and to consider the collective responses that are needed.
